Tupac was very close to his mother Afeni and expressed his feelings towards her in 'Dear Mama' and 'Mama's Just A Little Girl'. Afeni now controls Amaru Records which handles all Tupac's work. Afeni was a member of the Black Panthers and served time in prison while pregnant with Tupac.
